Henderson Girls' Brigade

Welcome to Henderson Secondary School! You have made the right choice by coming to the school with one of the best principals, teachers and CCA program in Singapore. There are many CCAs offered in this school and The Girls' Brigade (GB) is one of them.

I am a volunteer with the school and was not in GB when I was in Secondary school. However, on looking back, I really wished my school then offered GB and that I did join GB then. The main reasons will be that firstly, I can try out many different activities ranging from indoor activities like make-up to outdoor activities like rock climbing. Secondly, I get a chance to be a leader in one way or other because GB's motto is "Making every girl a servant leader". Thirdly, there are many supportive teachers and volunteers who are there to guide us.

Last but not least, GB feels like a family because we learn to serve one another in love. We hope you will join our family too!

Attire for 25th May 2010(Tuesday) :
Pe Tee, Skirt with home shorts underneath, Nametag


Attire for 26th May 2010(Wednesday) :
Hot pink tee, Sch skirt with home shorts underneath,Nametag


Attire for 27th May 2010 (Thursday) :
Pe tee / 2009 End-of-year camp tee(white), sch skirt with PE shorts underneath,Nametag


Things to bring for UG camp :


Umbrella (Tue& Wed) -In case when we are out of sch it rains.
Water bottle(All day)
Money (All day)
Writing materials( All day)
Boots ( Polished boots)
2 Pair of socks (GB socks & White socks)
Shirt( Pe/2009 eoy camp tee) 3rd day's attire
Sch skirt
Toiletries (Toothbrush,toothpaste,soap,shampoo etc.)
Bathing Towel
Sleeping Bag
Slipper/Sandals ( Only use when going to bathe and sleep)
Torch Light (In case at night you want to visit the toliet and is dark)
Personal Medication
Cups/mug
Rag( All day, To clean up after every meal)
Bible

How to create a Photo Album and Slide Show

1) Sign in

2) Go to “Tools and Resources” à “Picasa Web Albums”

3) Click “Upload”

4) Name the Album

5) Select Photos from Computer

6) Click “Link to this album”

7) Click “Embed Slideshows”

8) Click “Extra Large 600”

9) Copy the HTML

10) Click “Done”

11) Go to CCA blog

12) Post “New Post”

13) Paste HTML onto new post

14) Change “width” from 600 to 500

15) Publish Post J
